n our country there are currently two options to create a company: the traditional way to create a company and the portal "tu empresa en un día" (your company in one day). The traditional form is the one that has classically been used in Chile for the incorporation of companies. Basically, it involves the drafting of a deed and its extract, which is notarized before a notary, published in the Official Gazette and registered in the Commercial Registry of the corresponding Real Estate Registry. Once these formalities are completed, the company has been created.
The second option to create companies in Chile is the portal Tu Empresa en un Día (Your Company in a Day). This is a web portal, created in 2012 by the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, where you enter, and start with the creation of the company through the drafting of different clauses that the portal will indicate. Once this is finished, if you have an advanced electronic signature, you sign and create the company. If you do not have an advanced electronic signature, which is what happens to most people, you simply go to a notary that works with advanced electronic signature and sign in that notary's office.
